Barge Recycling

We have been recycling barges in the Gulf South for around 60 years and have grown to become the largest wrecker and recycler in the United States. We operate five strategically located facilities equipped to handle these vessels in Alabama (Mobile), Louisiana (New Orleans, Morgan City, Amelia)  and Texas (Brownsville) . With a capacity to recycle in excess of 300,000 tons of material each year, no size or number of barges is too small or too large. We can handle purchases ranging from 1 barge to 100 barges, can offer collected or delivered services and always offer very competitive prices to our customers.

Remediation of barges can be handled using in-house expertise or through a network of trusted third-party contractors. Remediation service that we offer include removal of NORM impacted material, capture and removal of oily water and bilge water, removal of hydraulic fluids, foam removal, styrene removal, asbestos abatement and concrete removal.

The types of barges which we have recycled include hopper barges; rake barges; deck barges; spud barges; spar barges; ocean-going barges; crane barges; derrick barges; cargo barges; articulated tug barges (ATBs); oil barges; mud barges; accommodation barges; hotel barges; gambling barges; drill barges; dredge barges; generator barges; quarters barges; bottom-dump barges and pipe-laying barges.
